How to choose the right plant for everyone
The nicest thing about a plant family print is that nobody's just a name in a row. Each person gets a plant that's a little bit them — and picking which one is half the fun.
There's no wrong answer. But if you're stuck, here's how we think about the ten plants in the library.

Monstera — for the big presence — bold, warm, takes up happy space in a room.

Snake plant — for unbothered and steady. Survives anything, quietly gets on with it.

Fiddle leaf — for a little dramatic, a little particular, and worth the fuss.

Pilea — for cheerful and generous — always sprouting little ones to share.

Pothos — for easy-going and adaptable, happy wherever you put them.

Echeveria — for neat, pretty, self-contained. Doesn't ask for much.

Cactus — for prickly on the outside, soft once you know them.

Aloe — for the healer — the one everyone comes to when things go wrong.

Fern — for gentle and old-soul, happiest somewhere calm and green.

Sprout — for brand new, full of promise. Usually the baby.
A tip: don't overthink it. The plant that makes you smile when you read the name is almost always the right one. And if two people are clearly the same plant — that's allowed too. Some families are all monstera, and that's a lovely thing to know about yourselves.
Prefer flowers to plants? Everyone can be their birth-month bloom instead — here's the whole year.
